ART OF DANCE STUDIO POLICIES
Registration: Students must have a registration form signed by a parent or legal guardian. A ONE TIME $25.00 registration fee ($35 for family of two or more), is due when you start classes or reserve your spot in a class. With the registration fee paid, you are welcome to try any class before you pay your monthly tuition.
~Families with 2 children will get the 2nd child for 50% off, 3rd for 10% off.
Attendance: Your monthly tuition will not change because of missed classes. Students may take make up classes of any style. Ask teacher for times.
Studio Closing Dates: Thanksgiving Break November, Christmas Break, Spring Break and Memorial Day.
Payments are due by the first of each month unless you pay by class.
Class tuition does not change whether we have short or long months.
Recital: Our annual recital will be held in the summer.
Costume: For Ballet & Tap/ Jazz & Tap combo classes there will be two costumes provided. You will have input on costs and style. For Ballet, Jazz & Tap and Solo/Duet classes there will be one costume per genre.
Class Attire: Each student can wear what makes them feel most comfortable. Ballet tights, leotards, dresses and shoes are all options and you can purchase them on your own or through the studio. Adult Ballet Barre Fit requires a mat and bare feet. Adult Hip Hop Cardio requires sneakers or dance shoes.
Parents may observe class from time to time to see the progress of their child. Please ask teacher for appropriate times.
I am fully aware of and appreciate the risks, including the risk of catastrophic injury, paralysis and even death associated with participation in dance and gymnastics activities. I have communicated these to my child(ren). I further agree that Art of Dance and its staff shall not be held liable for any losses or damages occurring as a result of my child(ren’s) participation. I have read and agree to comply with Art of Dance’s policies.
